CLOWNS WITHOUT BORDER BAHAMA RELIEF TOUR, SUNday 12/15

The show Sunday morning was at a Baptist church. The church is in a rather remote area on the island. It took about fourth five minutes by car to get there. This is a small church with a beautiful view of the ocean outside their front door. As we drove up to the church I heard a familiar sound, the preaching of a sermon. We arrived just as the service was ending.  I was told that some from this church lost as many as seven family members in the storm. A relief organization arrived minutes after we got there. They passed out supplies while we did the show. Folks from congregation watched the show as they received the supplies. There was a drummer there from the church band. We were sharing the same space as we performed. He was an impromptu member of the clown team.  When I dropped one of my juggling clubs he smiled at me and said., “Don’t blame the drummer”.

I didn’t.
